Palmer College to start Year I of the Diplomate in Chiropractic Pediatrics (DICCP) program in Detroit and Boston this Spring

The first year of the Diplomate in Clinical Chiropractic Pediatrics (DICCP) program will be offered by Palmer College in two locations this spring – Detroit and Boston. The first class for the Detroit session is set for March 1-2, 2008

The DICCP program is a 3-year, 360-hour course with 30 classroom modules. It is the only Diplomate program that has an all classroom curriculum with one weekend on special needs held at a chiropractic childrens’ special needs facility. The syllabus, developed by the ICA Council on Chiropractic Pediatrics is administered by Palmer College of Chiropractic in the United States. DCs who complete the program through Palmer College, pass all internal exams, submit the required number of research papers, and are declared “Board Eligible” by the College may then apply to sit for the Pediatrics Diplomate Board Examination. The Board Examination is an external exam conducted by the Testing Board of the ICA Council on Chiropractic Pediatrics.

Doctors of chiropractic interested in caring for pregnant women and children should take their education to the next level and enroll in the DICCP program. It is well worth the time and effort.. As of December 2007 there are 147 DICCPs in the US and Canada. Approximately 60 DCS are expected to sit for the Board examination in 2008 and another dozen in New Zealand/Australia.

To register for Detroit or Boston call Palmer College 1-800-452-5032. To view or download schedule and other information:
