New York City to Host 2010 Annual Pediatrics Conference

Exciting New York City is the venue for the  2010 Annual Super Conference on Chiropractic & Pediatrics.  The conference will be held August 20-21 in the award-winning and elegant 5-star Westin Hotel at Times Square.

"We had an extraordinary program in Colorado Springs for our 2009 Conference, " said Pediatrics Council Chair Dr. Lora Tanis. "And our 2010 conference will be just as exceptional.  We urge all DCs who are interested in a superior educational program to join us in New York.  We are having it a little early in the year so that doctors can bring their families and have a vacation before the kids return to school."

There is an exciting line-up of speakers.  They include

  • Dan Murphy, DC, DABCO
  • Michael A. Gruttadauria, DC, DACAN
  • Dr. Laura Hanson,DC, DICCP, NDT
  • Carol Phillips, DC
  • Peter Fysh, DC, FICCP
  • Lora Tanis, DC, DICCP  and
  • Liz Anderson-Peacock, DC, DICCP

The topics include chiropractic and the bio-nutritional treatment of autism, tourette syndrome, extra-uterine adaptation of the neonate, childhood stroke, childhood cancers, epigenetics and pregnancy , pediatric immune system, and more.  There will be a choice of technique workshops and some of them will be related to the topics presented so practitioners learn what is appropriate and when and how to modify their technqiues so it more effective and always safe.  There will also be a workshop for new practitioners.

The conference this year will be held on Friday and Saturday so attendees have Sunday to go sightseeing or shopping before heading back home.  Classes will start early, but it will still be 16 hours of solid continuing education over 2 days.  .

"The last time the Conference was held in New York it was sold out and the ballroom was filled to capacity," said Dr. Tanis. " This year registrations will be cut off once the maximum has been reached. I urge everyone to register early so they are not disappointed."
