DICCP Program to Start in Montreal
The ICA Council on Chiropractic Pediatrics is starting Year 1 of its Diplomate in Clinical Chiropractic Pediatrics (DICCP) program in Quebec starting May 28-29, 2010. The classes will be held in Montreal.
The Diplomate in Clinical Chiropractic Pediatrics (DICCP) is a 3-year postgraduate specialty program with all classroom hours for its 30 modules. At the end of the 3rd year there is an exam whiich doctors must pass in order to be "Eligible" to sit for the DICCP Board examination. The Board examination is conducted by the International College of Chiropractic Pediatrics. The DICCP is a recognized board certified program in pediatrics and the only postgraduate pediatrics program with a structured and well-defined syllabus for all 30 modules. Doctors cannot start the program at any stage, they have to start with Year I. The DICCP is also the only specialty board certified program in chiropractic recognized by both the ICA and ACA.
